1 Jaisalmer Fort
Jaisalmer Fort is situated in the city of Jaisalmer, in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is believed to be one of the very few "living forts" in the world, as nearly one fourth of the old city's population still resides within the fort. For the better part of its 800-year history, the fort was the city of Jaisalmer.

2 Desert Safari

3 Kuldhara Village

4 Jain Temple

Once, centuries back, Jain traders were the most prosperous people in Jaisalmer. They were rich, wealthy, and deeply religious people, who built temples all around this desert city of Jaisalmer.

Today, if you go to visit Jaisalmer, you must see these Jain temples. All are constructed out of yellow sandstone, and they look beautiful at the time of the setting sun and in the early morning sunrise.

What is striking about these temples is their magnificent architecture and intricate carvings.

5 Gadisar Lake
A man-made water reservoir, the Gadisar Lake was once the only source of water in Jaisalmer. Constructed by the first ruler of Jaisalmer, Raja Rawal Jaisal, it is surrounded by temples and ghats (banks). One can spend some peaceful time in the serene surroundings of the lake or choose to go boating as well. Boating and watching calm water in their natural surroundings can be a great experience with everyone at Gadisar Lake.
